SET ONE:
Gl:... and his sexy voice says: "Orange red, orange red, three orange drips" (or something entirely different... I'm not sure. It's cute though! , and he's testing the sound...) .... Any pepper spray victims here tonight? (laughs).. It's a good name for a band... Pepper Spray Victims".
Plastic Love: This is THE most amazing version I have heard them play. It is breathtaking. Spencer's vocals are dripping with emotion. Full of so much torment. *sniffle* My heart just breaks listening to him. Stewart is in fine voice, beautifully echoing Spencer's cries. The band outro has always been amazing, but this particular one crossed over into outstanding. The whole band melding faultlessly. I can listen to it a thousand times, and still feel myself sink deeper into their world.

Nashville: Thick & eerie. During the bridge (I feel, I feel), there is this bubbly smooth watery effect.... that sounds so cool! Bitter, sexy vocals from Spencer. Nashville is always a favourite, & especially a good one for new and cool effects the guys are experimenting with. This version had more body than the Antone's show. I Loved it!!
Sp: "Tune this up a little bit for you" (Stewart says something presumable funny, and Spencer chuckles). We're going to do this tune for Dave & Mara".
Wanted: Stewart's piano arrangement is fantastic. Listen for his piano crescendo, coming out of the center band break. Beautiful touch! ... but all the way through he shines.
Sp: "This is called It Got You Thinking"
It Got You Thinking: Glenn has a really great bass line & I think I would have liked it a fraction louder. Stewart's fills are just gorgeous -- not just in this song, but through out the whole show.
Sp: "Thankyou. Thanks a lot. Here's a tune called Photograph."
Photograph: OMG, This song kicked. It was so funky, and I have never heard them play it like that. You have to hear it to believe it. Started out almost the same as the cd.... when the second verse kicks in, that's when things get wild. Brannen is superb on drums!!! Spencer's vocals kill!
Sp: "We haven't played that in a long time."
St: "Not since the last time we did it."
Sp: "Not since the last time we did it. (Big plug for the Live show "boot"
cd's) Here's a tune called "You Are Not me"
You Are Not Me: This one has such a pretty arrangement! Just beautiful!
Jaded: First time I heard this song, I loved it!!! It's always sounds fantastic!!!!
(segue)
Poppy Seed: Spencer sends me weak at the knees! Glenn's bass is nice and clear, giving the whole song beautiful depth. Back ups are beautiful!!!
Sp: "Thank you , we're going to take a very short break."
St: "And don't forget we have those live cd's from 2 days ago. The
Antone's show. I just thought I'd, mention that. 'Cause I never get to talk
much."
SET TWO:
Sp: (says something or other) ... Hey Steve, if you get a chance, if you could turn the stage lights up, just a little bit.
Sell It To A Girl: Beginning & ending with a superlative solo from Stewart. Spencer's melts in with a beautiful breathy phrase. This is always a favourite of mine. It's filled with tons of grooves & changes. The scatting from Spencer at the end of the song is a first ever treat. That is, it's the first time I have heard him do this, and he sounded fantastic!! The whole band blends beautifully.

Foolish Me: Coolest version ever. Brannen just knocks me flat! Him combined with Glenn's dark pulsing bass, Stewart effects, & Spencer's keeping us wild with guitars, make this one of the best live songs they do. ... and the harmonies are great too!
St: (plugs "bootleg" discs) .... and also these lovely t-shirts that um...
Glenn ironed. (plug email list)
Gl: 'Cause I'm the only one in the band who can...
Sp: Iron?
Gl: Yeah, I'm a bad ass dude.
Sp: Really?
Gl: Yeah! You should come over & watch me sometimes
St: ... But enough about your personal hygiene
Gl: What?
Sp: You can come clean my floor tonight.
Skin: Hauntingly beautiful, with Spencer show-casing that silky & sensual falsetto. Pure indulgence!
Sp: Thank you. We've got time for 2 or 3 more for you.
Happy Ending: I am absolutely loving this song!!
Sp: Got a couple more for you.
Blown Away: Another emotional beauty! I really love these lyrics. At the time was typing them out, all tears were welling up. It was not an easy job!
(segue)
Strange Day: Fraction slower, than we usually hear, but especially nice just coming out of Blown Away. It also give's Brannen some space to really play! Actually, that can be said of the whole band. Flawless performance!
Gl: Thank you. We're going to ... We're taking a break, next Monday. We'll be back the Monday after that.
Early Warning: Massive effects in the intro, which then leads into Spencer's beautiful solo. I LOVE THIS SONG!!! It has everything!!!
Sp: Thank you! Hey Cheney, do you have enough life?
