Poppy Seed == Spencer enlightened the audience that the historical significance
of You Are Not Me, is that it's the first song they
played together JJ and Spencer wrote it. Spencer then said "
'You Are Not Me'... and let's face it folks,
you're not." To which Stewart replied; "What's that
supposed to mean?" LOL!! Heather ==
You Are Not Me Stick around for Sarah Nelson from Tosca coming up

Photograph Spencer thanks Clubcast listeners, and mentions there are
listeners in Australia (I'm one of them <HUGE GRIN>) and Japan. Stewart
goes on to thank a whole bunch of us by name, moi being among the lucky
ones! . Spencer says he's such a kiss-up!
Stewart doesn't care. He knows we love it!!!!! WE LOVE YOU STEWART!
Julie.
Sometimes - Lots of cool improvised parts from Stewart.
Early Warning - Very Genesis like opening, very wicked indeed!
Killer performance, bass was very prominent.
Jaded - In 3/4 time... 123 123 : ). Good vocals in the middle eight
from Spencer.
It Got You Thinking - Different intro, just guitar. Straight 4-4
drumbeat in the verses, chorus went back to the regular drums on the off
beat as well.
Skin - The harmony and melody were stronger, vocals much more
assured and the instrumentation much more refined. New song getting better!
Nashville - Good performance!
Poppyseed - Right away, nice improvisation from Stewart on piano.
You Are Not Me - Enjoyed this much more after hearing it's
historical significance. Great lyrics.
Plastic Love - All of the instruments just dovetailed into each
other beautifully!
I Couldn't Help Myself (#2 in 2nd set) - Lots of interesting chord
changes.
Nothing But A Child - As always, excellent performance. JJ, very
feisty in this tune. Actually he's feisty the whole show.
Foolish Me - Opening very haunting ala John Carpenter (horror movie
maker who writes his own scores). Definitely a nice improvement on the
arrangement from the cd version.
Sell It To A Girl - Bass line was more pronounced than usual.
Photograph - Very soulful vocals, exceptional backing vocals on
this as well as all around on the show. Spencer really let it rip with his
guitar solo.
Blown Away - The performance was definitely on par with the rest of
the show!
Strange day - Shades of prog - rock with that intro!! Another
really tight performance. JJ's drumming definitely accelerates the song. JJ,
you rock!
Wanted - Great closer with Wanted. Very energetic!
